BR Double Broken Bauchersnaffle Sweet Iron 13 mm

This double broken Bauchersnaffle is made of solid stainless steel combined with a sweet iron layer on the mouthpiece (blue). The mouthpiece is equipped with brass rings, which stimulate the horse to play with the bit. This will cause the horse to "let go" in the mouth. The sweet iron coating on the mouthpiece stimulates the production of saliva. When this material reacts with moisture, heat and air, it will oxidize and develop a sweet-tasting surface rust. This helps with the acceptance of the bit. The bit exerts a slight pressure behind the ears and has a normal effect on the mouth. The mouthpiece has a thickness of 13 mm. This Baucher snaffle has upward shears with a small ring at the top. When the pieces are attached to the upper rings and the reins are attached to the ordinary bit guards, a mild leverage is created.

Maintenance advice

Maintenance of bits

It is wise to clean the bit after each use, this can be done under the tap or in a bucket of water. A bit of good and extensive cleaning is best with a little lukewarm / warm water and a soft cloth. After washing, dry the bit with a dry cloth. Cooking your bit once a month in a pan of water ensures an optimal clean result and is the most effective way to get the bit clean.

Tips

  • Never use soap and / or detergents in connection with allergic reactions when washing
  • If the bit is very dirty, let it soak in hot water for a while
