You can find various types of stirrup belts at MHS Equestrian

With a stirrup belt you connect your stirrups with your saddle. In our webshop you will always find the straps that fit best with the saddle of your shetland or mini horse. We offer a wide selection of lengths, materials, colors and brands.

Saddle stirrup strap or stirrup strap

A stirrup belt is also referred to as a saddle stirrup belt or abbreviated simply to stirrup belt. The belt is attached to your saddle with a bracket strap hook.

This hook is either open or has a flexible hinge. If there is a fall, the bracket strap slips easily out of its attachment. A safe idea, especially when your child is going to ride.

Plastic or leather: you can find it in our webshop

Stirrup belts are offered in plastic and in leather. Plastic is easy to use, requires little maintenance and is very affordable.

Leather is a good choice when you go for a stylish look, especially in combination with a leather saddle. Leather has a long service life. However, it is important that you regularly clean and care for learning products. Fortunately, you can come to MHS Equestrian for a wide range of care products, especially for leather.

We recommend that you regularly check both your leather and plastic stirrup straps for small cracks or loose stitches. This is to prevent accidents.

Advice on the correct stirrup belt

In our range you will find belts in various lengths and thicknesses, making them suitable for both small mini horses and the larger ponies. We are happy to advise you on choosing the right product for your horse.

Our team of experts is at your service every day on workdays and is happy to answer all your questions.

An advice that we are already giving is to change the stirrup belts on the left and right regularly to prevent a difference in length. Because of the take-off, the belt on your ascent side will stretch faster.

Easy and secure online ordering

Ordering at MHS Equestrian is simple and safe. We ensure a fast delivery, you only have to pay afterwards and you also have 30 days to change your mind.
