When does the horse suffer from accumulated sand in the intestinal tract?
This is easy to test by filling half a bucket with water and adding 5 to 6 fertilizer fetlocks. Leave the bucket for an hour and then check the contents. If there is more than 1 teaspoon of sand at the bottom of the bucket, the horse has ingested too much sand. The advice is to give the horse Sand-Exit to prevent intestinal discomfort, among other things.

Feeding advice
Horse up to 450 kg: 60 g twice a day for 6 days.
Horse from 450 kg: 125 g twice a day for 6 days.
