Walk-through trap to catch rats, martens and even polecats!
Once the walk-through trap has been set, an animal will approach the bait. When trying to eat, the animal in question will have to stand on the platform. As soon as the platform moves, the iron pins on the side of the cage will shoot away from each other. At that point, the flaps on both sides of the cage close. The smaller flaps will rest on the barb so that the animal has no way to es(safety) helmete. The trap is made of galvanized steel.

Tips
It is possible to place four eggs in the holes of the plateau as a bait. Do this before setting the trap.
To catch pests even faster and more efficiently with this walk-through trap, you can under rug the bottom of the trap with sand and leaves. Placing a cloth or branches over the trap reduces the light and makes pests more likely to fall into the trap. Always use gloves when setting the trap so that the smell of people does not get caught.
