Amount of sugar in Horslyx

Horslyx contains little sugar in relation to the feed that horses receive daily. For example, a 500 kg horse eats 50 kg of grass every day, which contains 2000 g of sugar. When the same horse takes 0.25 kg of Horslyx per day, the horse ingests 82.5 g of sugar. Because horses consume so little Horslyx daily, they consume little extra sugar. In addition, horses can tolerate sugar well, especially if they ingest small amounts throughout the day (such as while grazing or licking a salt lick).
