This Butterfly Bit (which is also known as bokkebit or French (frog) rod) is made of stainless steel. The unbroken mouthpiece mainly puts pressure on the tongue and not on the layers. Due to the slight leverage of the rings on the outside, this bit also gives a slight pressure on the head piece. For advice or sizes see our size chart.

Maintenance advice
Maintenance of bits
It is wise to clean the bit after each use, this can simply be done under the tap or in a bucket of water. A bit of good and extensive cleaning is best done with a little lukewarm / warm water and a soft cloth. After washing, dry the bit with a dry cloth. Boiling your bit once a month in a pan of water ensures an optimal clean result and is the most effective way to get the bit really clean.
Tips
- Never use soap and / or detergents in connection with allergic reactions when washing
- If the bit is very dirty, soak it in hot water for a while
